This policy explains how to cancel a one-week trial or an ongoing subscription with Internet Butlers LLC (a New Mexico limited liability company), and when refunds may apply.
Overview
Clear notice helps us wrap work cleanly and protect both sides. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, the rules below apply.
Note: This policy controls over any older copy. Trial subscription starts with about 10 billable hours within 7 days. The 7 days start on payment. Hours begin billing once onboarding forms are accepted and access is confirmed. The same card is billed $899 on day 7 for the 20 hours/month plan, renewing monthly until cancelled. Cancel at least one day before day 7 to avoid the charge. Extensions are discretionary if forms are accepted late. Unused hours roll over as already stated.
One-week trial

You keep work product already delivered for amounts paid, subject to our Terms of Service.

We may pause or end Services for non-payment, misuse, or material breach, with notice where practicable. If we terminate for our convenience (not for cause), we will refund a pro-rated amount of prepaid fees for unused time in the then-current period.
Refund schedule (trial and all monthly plans)
This schedule applies to the one-week trial and to every monthly plan (20, 30, or 40 hours). Your refund is based on the share of that period’s included hours used when you cancel. When a refund is issued, service ends immediately.

Example, one-week trial ($499, 10 hours): under 2 hours used, $399.20 back (80%). 2 to under 4 hours, $299.40 (60%). 4 to under 6 hours, $199.60 (40%). 6 to under 8 hours, $99.80 (20%). 8 hours or more, no refund.
Example, 20 hours/month plan ($899): under 4 hours used, $719.20 back (80%). 4 to under 8 hours, $539.40 (60%). 8 to under 12 hours, $359.60 (40%). 12 to under 16 hours, $179.80 (20%). 16 hours or more, no refund.
How to request cancellation or a refund
- Email contact@internetbutlers.com (or use the address on our Contact page) from the email on your account or invoice.
- Include: full name, company, service type (trial or subscription), and preferred end date. A brief reason is optional but helpful.
- We confirm receipt and the effective end date or refund decision within 3 business days.
Refunds, when approved, are issued to the original payment method when possible and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or Stripe.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a payment dispute so we can resolve billing issues directly. Unfounded chargebacks may result in suspension of Services and collection of amounts owed, as allowed by law and our payment processor’s rules.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy by posting a revised version. For active paid engagements, material changes will be communicated as reasonably practicable. The version in effect when you purchased or renewed applies unless we agree otherwise in writing.
